I didn’t realize it was 15 years with Def Jam. Wow!
When Nas could obviously put any track he has access to, old or new, on this project, he is going with the best of the older stuff. This has to mean that he believes that his new shyt for his first Mass Appeal album is fire. I want to hear the results of the work hip hop out in for him just as bad.
It wasn't 15.

More like 13

He said nearly 15

I wonder how premo is feeling about the Lost Tapes 2? Pete Rock got to make 2 tracks just for the album. What ever happen for doing at least one for the streets? For the stuck in the 90’s nikkas. Lol. I ain’t mad. There probably is nothing left unreleased that premiere did with Nas.
Exactly. As far as I know they haven't recorded anything since 2nd Childhood. Preem may have submitted a beat or something but no songs have been finished since then. And So Ghetto is also the last time he worked with Jay, although I know this beat was intended for American Gangster but I believe Jay passed on it.

So just to summarize the Nas t-shirt posts and get my facts straight...Nas posted the wrong shirt with a different tracklist than what was released to the press, and then deleted it and re-posted the tracklist that we got originally?

I wonder if 9th Wonder made it I remember he put the video of him making a beat for Nas

9th Wonder does have one track with Nas and Demian Marley that did not make the Distant Relatives album.

Like some others in the thread have said, I think 9th rubbed Nas the wrong way with how he framed his reasons for doing God's Stepson, etc, and I'm not sure if Nas is the biggest fan of his.

Can anyone bless me with the full version of the "honeymoon's over" freestyle? Thanks in advance.
CDQ version of My Will (also known as Honeymoon is Over). Produced by Alchemist and recorded 2005-ish. Contrary to what some think, there are not any unheard verses. It's a single 24 bar verse and that's it.

Enjoy!

EDIT: tagging @Bobhoward since he was asking about this too

If you listen to My Will closely, it’s seems like the honeymoon is over ad-libs we added later. I actually thought I had heard of the track before it leaked and I always though he added the ad-libs just because. The honeymoon ad-kind has nothing to do with the concept of the song and actually take away from an immaculate verse.

I wonder what happened to the Mass Appeal track Nas was rumored to have done when he jumped over to mass appeal.

I bet Who Killed it would have been dope had he dropped the accent. I bet there is a version of the song without the accent.

Nas don't like producers who talk too much. Hence why Pete got the stiff arm for decades.
