I hope the 2 swizz beats tracks are dope but i trust nas. Surprised he didn't put street shyt from the LIG sessions on here

I saw a Swizz Beatz interview around the time he was promoting Poison last year and he said he didnt wanna put it on his album cause it would take away from the rest of the LP. So Im guessing it was always meant to be for Swizz? I know people think it was the mysterious track they heard at the Life is Good listening session but I dont recall people saying they heard Jay, X and Kiss on that one.

the promo said ther was songs from nasir; so its possible you mean the world to me was re-done or remixed

Im gonna go ahead and assume when they say songs from the Nasir sessions they mean the stuff he did pre-Wyomng for his own album that he sat on (ie Nas Album Done)

Cause that Nasir shyt was thrown together in like a week

He said that?:dwillhuh:

Cause I assumed for years he never finished it and the snippet was all there was.
Yeah bro. It had Jay-Z on it but Nas never finished his part.

Edit. Okay I guess it doesn’t say it’s final
Final but this is from late April and it’s just bad timing. I just wish he’d stop getting hopes up.

Even back on :hamster: he was promising to upload the OG version of The Invitation and Better Way. He wasn’t being begged too either if I recall.

Here’s the recent Nas/Hov joint post

No ID, Statik Selektah, hopefully Alchemist, Pete Rock, hopefully Toomp and Khalil (cause they stuff for the Untitled sessions was great ) will be good The Kanye track is great

I dont know how the RZA and Swizz tracks will be and thats the biggest question mark. And Pharell too but maybe they might cooked something promising street shyt by the title.

Also the Eddie Cole track with Skat attack and two people I dont know sounds like it could be some experimental track shyt. Eddie Cole been his tour singer so who knows what will happen there

It seems pretty bloated for a lost tapes album but hopefully the final few tracks finishing it strong

So we'll see.

Its weird we're analyzing this album like a new Nas albuim right down to scrutinizing the production credit and track names like old times lol

Its weird too cause the first Lost Tapes, most rap nerds and heads had heard like 90% before off B-sides, Rap Radio Shows, Mixtape and early mp3 file sharing days. I think only purple had never been heard before and it was not promoted like a new album.
