I’m a big Nas fan, he’s my second fav rapper ever

But this album is average. I like a few songs

Who Are You
Lost Freestyle
Jarreau of Rap
Royalty

What made LT1 so great is it actually sounded like a studio album ..this one coulda been much better
Yeah. This shyt is a dud. Only stand out track is QB Politics.
Too many rappers putting out fire shyt for this album to even stand out. Nas is washed and is officially KRS-1 status.

According to us fans, Jarreau of Rap May have been the wrong track to leak out the gate but it’s the one that has garnered the most critical acclaim. While several other tracks sound far better, what other tracks was going to have journalists from all over writing about it, especially for its unique flow and non-traditional beat? Watched an old Nas appearance on one of the late night talk shows and when he entered, the band was playing “Bridging the Gap”. Everyone cried about that one too but the is an audience for every Nas song and it may not be us. It may be another demographic that can help him reach other heights, achieve other goals and acclaim. You never know so... Good call Nas!

I just finished my first listen so I aint tryna make definitive statements before I listen again. Only dislike I have is the excessive name dropping.

Damn I've played songs so many times over from this joint. The lyricism, the amount of stories, and sonically its almost as if Kanye executive produced this joint as opposed to Nasir. Off first couple listens thought it was dope but not touching first Lost Tapes. Now I'm not so sure:ohhh:

This is another high in his career. I hope Nas Album is really done because there about to be more demand. That may mean increased personal scrutiny on his own work, in an attempt to not disappoint. The bar is always raised when you have recently put out great work. We will eventually get the “Nas is back in the studio with...” article. It about to be crazy.
This lost tapes 2 is getting really good reviews overall. It was smart to drop it while he touring. He will drop his official album next year. Then he can tour that project.
