Why ya'll nikkas want unreleased stuff from 96-2003 so badly?

I obviously wouldn't mind it. But I would love to hear his unreleased songs from 2006-2016 to be honest

A lot of people, like myself want to hear that Nasty Nas. Nas, as a MC, has gone through several personas and I am interested in the material that he covered during those times. One unreleased track, True Dialect, has Nas just spittin street talk over a tough little beat. The same can be said for the that Understanding track. Nas spit those dope ass street rhymes over a slower track that allowed him to flow more, which is something he doesn't do as much now.

During Escobar season through the God's son era, Nas was talking more street/thugs and drug shyt. He also had beef with Big, Pac, Jay, Mobb and others so there might be some subs in there. He had personal drama with his baby mama and his mother's sickness so there is potential for some compelling work. Also, people are still trying to piece together the whole I am: The Autobiography double album mystery and what else may have been recorded fro those sessions.

In 2010, Nas wanted to drop the Lost Tapes 2 to wet everyone's appetite ahead of the new studio album, which was Life is Good (I wish that one would have come out). The release of The Lost Tapes 2 now might mean that the new album is coming sooner than later.

Yeah that's a definite possibility. Also the first Lost Tapes dropped just a couple months before God's Son and just a few days after Made You Look was released.

Lost Tapes Could Seriously Go 7 Albums Deep

Realistically If He Gives Us 4-5 Lost Tapes That 2000’s Stuff Should Be At The Tail End

True. I have a list of about 48 unreleased Nas songs, many of which we have heard on mixtapes and youtube. However, we haven't had a leak of any unreleased Nas music since 2008 with the ****** Tape, except that Black Girl Lost 2 track. Therefore, 10 years of unreleased material exists.
