Nas went back to the studio and completed work for the Lost Tapes 2. He added new verses and lines. Maybe he will do the same here. Again, the only question for me is whether he will be putting any/some of the older, left over Sony stuff on here or if he will go with more of the new stuff. He had a whole album of Def Jam only era stuff ready to go years ago.

Somebody posted 20-25 tracks?? I think 12-17 tracks max. If Nas gives us more than that, I’d lose my muthafukkin mind regardless of y’all hat he put on there.

In a post he shared to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon (June 11), Nas can be seen holding a broken cassette that reads The Lost Tapes II, with a caption that includes the curious eyes emoji. To add more speculation, Nas' polished appearance in the video, along with his white gloves and long coat, seem to speak toward him being on set of a promotional shoot. Could it be for the album's rollout?

Escobar Season arrived brehs :blessed:

I just hope he has an a&r team of some sort helping
him pick and finding the right songs to put on the
album.. On the first lost tapes he had Lenny and somebody
else I think.. May of been Lenny's idea if I'm not mistaken.
I remember reading him saying like u got some crazy stuff that
didn't make albums lets put it out.

Its pretty crazy to think that a compilation of unreleased tracks is most likely gonna have the best production lineup of his career since Illmatic given the people he worked with in that period.:ohhh:

Large Pro, Pete Rock, Alchemist, Havoc, Statik Selektah, Salaam Remi, Just Blaze, Kanye West, No I.D., J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, RZA, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz...

Just endless possibilities. :ohlawd:
