remember when you used to go out and all of a sudden the cassette tape ribbon got stuck next thing you know you had to take mad ribbon out to untwist it? LMAO

and that place in the boombox where you put batteries, that's where I kept my stash!!!! Parents NEVER looked in there... HAHHA!!!!

Has anyone successfully ever put a tape back together after completely undoing the ribbon off the spools? I've tried rolling it back up with a pencil but something always goes wrong

When did CD's start truly replacing cassettes? I remember only getting CD's in the late late late 90's bc of that company that gave them away for a penny each.
I bought my last cassette in 2001 and it was a mixtape someone made of PUN.
I only switched to making cd's when napster and limewire popped off and my parents finally bought us a computer in 2000.
before that i had to go to people's houses to get on aol or ask them to make me mix cd's.
