Finding a song in a cassette tape back then with the fwd or rewind button vs now just clicking on a track LOL.

From cassette tapes to CD players to iPhones
Damnnnn......

I had them all, it seems music was always part of my life.
I cant believe so many years later im still as into it as I used, maybe even more...
I always thought it would be the opposite growing up.
I bump into dudes i used to chill with with boom boxes they not even listening to music no more.
Makes me wonder if I need to grow up tbh.....

When you were fast fwding, did you ever push down on the rewind button very lightly as the same time to hear the song fastfwd through the speakers so you can know when the song you were trying to skip was over? :wow:
My radio when I was younger did that. Made fwd and rewinding so much easier.

listening to the radio with your finger on the pause button :ohlawd:

I remember it sucked when I would unpause it, and it was a wack song, or some shyt I already had. I would have to rewind and find the exact spot I was at

years later I did that with Yo and Rap City. I still got some of those VHS's but no VCR :heh:

I hooked up my ish to the TV in the mid 90's/late 90's to tape the sound of the videos on bet and mtv.
At least i could record it on vhs while i was at school and then come home and make tapes vs waiting to hear it on the radio at night.
Sound quality was pretty decent too coming frm the TV :jawalrus:

I did some shyt like that. but I actually got a audio splitter to get the mono audio from the vcr to two channels, and then another adapter to get that into the mic jack on my box. I felt like a radio-shack scientist back then :heh:

I remember the volume was also the record-level on my box. so you had to have that shyt mad loud to get the best quality when dubbing. that caused problems...
