Nas - NASIR (Discussion Thread)

Yeah im not really counting these GOOD music projects as albums. And this is a dope project. I really like it. 6 out of the 7 tracks for me is dope as hell. The other track is bonjour, which is cool but ill probabaly take it off my playlist.

Still though. This 7 track project has more dope shyt than other cats whole albums. So even though its short, im not mad at all

Exactly how I feel. I can't get into Bonjour at all. I'm not feeling the loud vocals, Nas' delivery in the first verse and the weird bouncy beat. The chorus is clearly the highlight of the song.

The album is 3.75 or 4 mics. It's a good project with some flaws. Nice addition to his catalog.

I've never seen album reviews where a rapper get criticized because he didn't address a certain topic on his album?

The reviews were already written before the album came out

These music critics can't just review music...everything has to have an agenda or narrative.
