Nas fanboys are so insecure that it's to the point of delusion. The everything is love joint isn't even a jay album. It's a beyoncé album featuring jay. The fact that this site is infested by fake self righteous insecure Nas trolls aside, you should expect the first album in 6 years from a legend like Nas to be more talked about than a surprise hip hop r&bish album starring beyonce featuring jay.
What I don't understand is how y'all can be so insecure and antagonistic at the same time. Y'all keep this competition/beef with jay alive not realizing that it's the ultimate source of your insecurity and overall sense of being unfulfilled with Nas and his career. If y'all were secure in nas's music and legacy then you constantly feel the need to compete with jay.
This is why I dismissed the "jay tryna sabotage Nas" gossip. Jay playing a whole different game. It would be silly for him and beyonce to even be thinking about Nas.
Fukk the 2018 Ashford and Simpson
Oh my.....nikkas.....
Ok after letting it settle in.. leaving it and comming back to it.. i almost always play tracks 3-7 straight. And did Large Pro catch bars at the end of Adam and Eve? Btw Adam & Eve is the best track on Nasir or Jay/Bey album...
Ehh...
2015
2016
That was only 2-3 years ago, and I don't think it would be controversial to suggest his flow sounds better in both clips than at any point on Nasir. Adam & Eve comes the closest. Nas follows the drums. The faster the tempo is, the more likely he is to whip out a dope flow. I'm amazed that Kanye didn't play around with that more. Give Nas a classic break to rap over. Trap drums aren't for him.
nas is the goat for intros....

Nas – ‘Nasir’ review
score 3/5
Rapper returns after six years with a political album that address America's race inequalities but remains silent on Kelis' allegations

I've never seen album reviews where a rapper get criticized because he didn't address a certain topic on his album?
Just spun The Lost Tapes for the 1000+ time... no trap, no singers with horrid modern day harmonizing(which is even worse than late 90s, early 2000s harmonizing).... no 2+ minutes of singing before Nas even raps, no noticable breaks in flow or random changes in voice affliction.
Oh and LIG is easily better... no intro, locomotive, queens story, daughters, reach out, you wouldn't understand, back when, stay, the black bond, wheres the love, trust.
Rolling Stone gave that album 3/5 stars, remember being younger and just saying fukk these publicationsLowest score is Stillmatic?
Good reason right there to never pay attention to this shyt.
