nas does boombap = that sounds old and tired, he needs some just blaze/kanye/trap

nas does just blaze/kanye/trap/timbo = I don't want to hear nas over those glossy beats

nas does soulful/jazz beats = that's boring, he needs more uptempo stuff

I was excited to hear the Slick Rick sample on Cops Shot The Kid because how can that go wrong? The message and lyrics were there, but the sample repeating constantly throughout the song was a bit much.

That's what i didn't like either. I'm glad the beat changes at 1:26 and 2:22.

I Am did have those tracks. nikkas got thirsty and bootlegged the album so bad he had to switch it up. It's how Nas Is Like got on the album. Honestly its only bout 3 beats that I didnt fukk wit on the retail version. And I'm one of the people who had the bootleg with all the fire on it. All I can say is maybe his official album that's coming soon might be more ur speed. Its supposed to have Pete Rock and Large Pro on it but who knows now since they been actin like bytches.
