Push, Cudi, Nas in a matter of weeks
Ye on a legendary run right now, great for hip hopKanye got two albums on itunes top 10
1). Nasir
9). Kids See Ghosts
And Ye is number 11
It definitely sounds like it was an experimental project put together in 1 month. The idea is pretty cool. However, it probably wasn't the best idea to drop it after a 6 year hiatus. A Kanye-produced 7 track album could've worked if promoted as a side project AFTER the real album he's been working was released.
My biggest critique is the mixing. The vocal levels on White Label and Bonjour are definitely too loud. Also, Kanye proclaims to be a Nas stan but he definitely didn't provide beats that fit Nas perfectly. Most beats on DAYTONA would work better for Nas.
With that said, I like the album and enjoy listening to it.
Ye on a legendary run right now, great for hip hop
He opens the album with "Black Kemet gods, Black Egyptian gods..."That joint prob got some cacs lowkey mad. That's why I like Nas though. Just doesn't give a fukk
nikka ain't sniffing that #1 slot again. LolNasir got bumped to #2 replaced by The Carters.
Kids See Ghosts is now #11 and Ye is #13
Even though its only 7 songs each, kanye is doing something historic right here. Back to back album releases for 5 weeks straight, entirely produced by kanye. Prople might not realize it now but they gonna be talking about this for yearsYe on a legendary run right now, great for hip hop
hold on brehs!
Sohh this is the album Nas been working on the past 4+ years?
Nas ain't for "Mass Appeal" contrary to his label's name. No one is touching Beyonce's base.Nasir got bumped to #2 replaced by The Carters.
Kids See Ghosts is now #11 and Ye is #13
that gold tint they used to mask the shyt fading.Kanye West post 2013 is terrible
At fashion
At music
At politics
Everything. He sucks.
oh, too bad for them.Pete has jus been throwing little sublims throughout IG in reference to Nas and the album.
Large comment on a pic Nas put up with swizz thanking him for cigars saying "maybe I should've gave u cigars instead of a place on a track (most likely referring to Live at the BBQ) then I would've gotten more love"
@Ziggiy @spliz now rereading this Large was definitely in his feelings bout not be either acknowledged or under Nas at the party. I feel this has more so to do with that than him not getting a production credit
