Coop said Black Girl Lost & Watch Dem nikkaz was the weakest songs on IWW had me like:dwillhuh:. Then I looked the tracklist again he may be right:mjlol:. Even tho I like Watch dem nikkaz better than Nas is Coming personally

He gotta be one of them purists still lulled to sleep by the laid back G-Funk, NO Joe style beat on Watch Dem nikkas not realizing it's lyrics and flow are A++ GOAT level shyt :francis:

This is what I struggle with on KD2. Great album and crazy consistent. It's skip free for me which just don't happen with 15 track albums. But it's missing the straight up bangers like The Don and Nasty, the "Peak Esco" level spitting like the end of Queens Story. The emotional depths on Stay, Roses, Where's The Love. And I'm taking You Wouldn't Understand and Back When over anything on KD2

I feel you, definitely great records. But look at how hard you had to lean on those deluxe tracks. That's one of the reasons it's hard for me to rank LIG higher.

I also think Moments can compete with You Wouldn't Understand. Store Run can compete with Back When, etc.

That's the problem every song is like that:mjlol::wow:, I think his fav songs are the setup and silent murder

For real. I'd say Watch Dem and Suspect the most underrated though. I seen those called filler tracks and I'm just :dwillhuh:

Weakest part of the album is the Nas Is Coming hook but beat and verses are still :whoo:

Watch Dem nikkas is WAY better than Nas is coming. It’s actually one of Nas’ most quoted lyrics on the album at the time of release.

Yep 100 facts I never heard anybody say Watch Dem nikkaz is the weakest on IWW

They never realized how real Nas is, so decisive
It's just the likeness of Israelites mist that made me write this
A slight twist of lime rhyme, be chasing down your primetime
Food for thought or rather mind wine
The Don Juan features the freak shyt
My thesis on how we creep quick
fukking your wife, that ain't no secret
It's mandatory, see, that p*ssy, they hand it to me

I got no game, it's just some bytches understand my story
There ain't no drama that my nikkas never handle for me
My gator brand is Mauri, walking through rough land before me
Where the snakes put a smile on they face
Hoping and praying I'm stuck
Scoping, they lay in the cut, weighing my luck
Player haters play this in cell blocks and rocked stages
Winking at some females cops with cocked gauges
Really, it's papers I'm addicted to
Wasn't for rap, then I'd be sticking you

The MAC inside the Triple Goose
Face down on the floor's the routine
Don't want hear nobody blow steam
Just cream or it's a smoke screen

Imagine that, that's why I hardly kick the bragging raps
I zone, to each his own and this ghetto inhabitant

I don’t consider it leaning on those deluxe tracks cause honestly that’s the way most people heard the album. Through the deluxe version. I don’t even know anyone with the plain jane version of the album. Add to the fact that even a song like Nasty is considered a deluxe song even tho it was technically his first single off the album.

Yeah. Before the album dropped, they asked Nas how many tracks are on the album and he said 18 tracks. I've always considered the deluxe the actual version he intended to release. Plus it was released on day 1. It wasn't a deluxe version that dropped weeks later.

I got the vinyl and the deluxe tracks aren't on it. Those songs were too good for that to be the case.
