I definitely enjoy it more than lt. it’s hard for me to put it above stillmatic because of the creativity in stillmatic but the sound of magic is better to me than stillmatic. My Personal number 2 album after illmatic, magic, stillmatic, it was written, lost tapes

Coop thinks Gods Son is a classic which I disagree with. Its a GREAT 4.5 Mics. Life Is Good is DEFINITELY a classic in my opinion.


Lost Tapes is a compilation album we can’t forget that. Its a collection of previously leaked songs. We can’t call that a proper album.


Magic is a better end to end album than Stillmatic but the HIGHS on Stillmatic are amongst the best songs in Hip Hop history plus the impact of songs like Ether and One Mic are simply undeniable.

Is it just me or is nas making these other rappers sound weak in comparison? Especially the way he is able to rap about any topic. Even the rappers that people are saying is the hottest or most lyrical today, nas makes them sound average.

Songs like You Gotta Love it is like 24 years old still classic since when I heard it on mixtapes. As much as I fukk wit Magic LT some other shyt. I'm not sure any of these songs making Nas top 30 maybe The Truth Speechless those probably reaches. LT at least 7 can easily make it

I think he was rapping better on LIG. LIG vs KD2 is the hardest placement to me

Coop said Black Girl Lost & Watch Dem nikkaz was the weakest songs on IWW had me like. Then I looked the tracklist again he may be right. Even tho I like Watch dem nikkaz better than Nas is Coming personally

I mostly agree with this, but I think KD2 is better than LIG.

This is what I struggle with on KD2. Great album and crazy consistent. It's skip free for me which just don't happen with 15 track albums. But it's missing the straight up bangers like The Don and Nasty, the "Peak Esco" level spitting like the end of Queens Story. The emotional depths on Stay, Roses, Where's The Love. And I'm taking You Wouldn't Understand and Back When over anything on KD2

Not mad at that. To me LIG is like a 4.5 and KD2 is a 4.75. Something like Accident Murderer he's rapping with more urgency, but I think his verse on something more subdued like Composure is more impressive to me.

Hell, my favorite performance on LIG might be on Stay, and that sounds like something that could've been on KD2.
