I think if i’m not mistaken that Nore said himself that there is more footage and on that footage Nas was dissing people by name.
I know for sure there was some tension between Nas and The Roots and Nas REALLY didn’t fukk with Backpack rap & Neo Soul during the 90’s. I do find it hard to believe that Nas would diss Meth and Redman though
He did kind of diss Red in another interview way back, when praising 50 Cent he said "he's not on no songs with Christina Aguilera". Ironically Nas was on a song with Christina Aguilera not long after (that 911 joint). QB and Def Squad had bad blood so perhaps a remnant from that.
Him and Meth been cool forever though, Meth even apologized for going too hard at Kelis when Nas/Kelis got divorced.
Funny thing is Red was RIGHT THERE with Meth and he looked even more angry than Meth did during the video. He kept saying “Nas we riding for you Goddamnit”

Word. I like that Nas spoke his mind. One of my pet peeves with him is that he plays the fence too much, or he'll say something a bit controversial and take it back later because he doesn't want to hurt feelings. fukk that. Say how you feel.

I don’t think he had problems with Redman. Him and Red used to hang out heavy during the Illmatic days. And Red always showin Nas love. He DEF ain’t have probs wit Meth. Meth get along wit everybody. LolNever knew about the problems with Redman. Black Thought a little bit, but both those beefs don't seem to have much documentation on them unless I'm mistaken.

I know some of y'all remember but Nas was DIFFERENT for like a good year, he was going at EVERYBODY. What changed him was his mom dying, before that God's Son was supposed to be a concept album going at the entire industry. He changed it up last second and bushed all the disses.

Yeah, if you have beef with Meth, it's on you, not him. After I saw Wu live, he came out after the show and took pics and signed for anybody and everybody. Super down to earth guy.
