Nas teased several installments of Lost Tapes after he dropped Lost Tapes 2. I don't think he's done releasing those especially with Def Jam saying they wanted to continue to working with Nas. Lost Tapes would be their only connection to him as Lost Tapes 2 was a Def Jam and Mass Appeal release even though Nasir ended his contract with them. I don't think anything he's done with HitBoy would be on a Lost Tapes unless its some pre King's Disease sessions. Nas talked about a Lost Tapes 3 being all features, so there were at least plans to release another one.

All true. Well, we know for sure that we won't see another installment too soon since he and hit Boi are on a fukkin rampage!

He’s technically back with Sony now via their distribution wing (Orchard) so I think it’s more likely we’d get Sony/Columbia era Lost Tapes stuff than Def Jam. And I think the vast majority of fans would prefer that era’s unreleased stuff over Def Jam (Lost Tapes 2) era so it’s win win.

I like your theory and I'm going to try it that way, but for some reason "Fetus" was pushed as a "hidden" bonus track (with a sticker on the front of the case), so they really did intend to put it last.

yea i dont kno when cd was mastered and pressed

obviously i can be wrong but ima go wit my gut

i mean even joe buddn got his name mispelt on his own album cover; mistakes def happen

I liked You Owe Me, I just wouldn’t have had it as the last song on the album. The sequencing is really fukked up on that album. The commercial tracks like New World and You Owe Me should have come earlier, Family and Last words should have come later. God Love Us should have been the closing song.

My Years Eve tradition is to play 'New World' from Nastradamus L.P. because it starts off with the ball drop countdown.
Plus it is cool to see which futuristic predictions he made in the song cone true since it's release to now. Or imagine how he would update it.

I wish am interviewer would ask him about the song and even recite some bars to him and ask if he'll do a sequel

Glad to see 'Nastradamus' LP honor being defended and voices of reason when it comes to that L.P.

Over the years I think it just became mindless Rap talking point to shyt on it even though even on paper production wise and sonically there are solid songs on there. And songs with meaning, street stories embedded with life truths.

Nah, we are not doing that.
I appreciate that this forum is pro-nas but let's not turn this into a cult.

Nastradamus was the reason Takeover hit so hard.

If this goes unchecked Nastradamus will be declared a near classic by next week.

Stop it. Yall grown men.

:childplease:

Anyway

Magic sounds like a classic.

Bro in the other thread people are saying they fukk with Jay Z Vol 3 ( one of his weakest albums to me) over The Black Album. That’s an opinion I never thought I would see but it is what it is. Especially since time ages certain music better as well. Nastradamus was Nas’ worst effort up until that point but there was always mad joints off that album people fukked with. It wasn’t horrible. It just wasn’t great for Nas. People don’t have to blindly hate the album.
