Who cares? Nas is Nas with HIS track record and Von was Von with HIS track record.

Nas’s moves should be what put weight behind his words.

I get you but Nas now is not Nas in 1998: just saying it sounds like the same rhetoric. It’s not a shot at Nas just at posters on here who try and act as if 90’s Hip Hop was far removed from the violence we see with drill when it wasn’t.

if you cut the weak tracks Nastradamus is a solid listen

Intro
Life We Chose
Nastradamus
Project Windows
Come Get Me
Shoot Em Up
Last words
Family
God Love Us
You Owe Me
Outro

that’s a fire playlist right there. How anyone can say it’s his worst album at this point is beyond me. Yeah it was his worst it dropped cause he only had illmatic, it was written and I am…, but it was never bad like people say. It’s still a good album, just not as good as his first three.

Right but what's his worst album? I'd take it over Nasir but that's about it

I never hated Nastradamus, either, and played it a lot the winter it dropped. A bad album by Nas standards is better than a good album for a lot of other artists. I could have done without "You Owe Me" though.

I liked You Owe Me, I just wouldn’t have had it as the last song on the album. The sequencing is really fukked up on that album. The commercial tracks like New World and You Owe Me should have come earlier, Family and Last words should have come later. God Love Us should have been the closing song.

its amazing how sequencing can fix an album

i honestly think when lenny put the tracklist for lost tapes together someone accidently reversed the order

hence why fetus is last

so i always play LT1 in reverse; makes it even better

i applied the same to LT2 and it improves it 10 fold because it feels like a continuation from life is good by having the life is good track as #1

I like your theory and I'm going to try it that way, but for some reason "Fetus" was pushed as a "hidden" bonus track (with a sticker on the front of the case), so they really did intend to put it last.

That's a great point.
