Nas been my GOAT since Lost Tapes/Gods Son, that's when he really passed Pac (my #2) to me.

I used to always rank him 3rd in best discography though, behind Cube and Pac, tied with Ghostface.

I think this trilogy puts him at my #1 :yeshrug:, especially if KD3 slaps even remotely as much as these last three.

I can easily see myself playing these albums years down the line.

RIP 2PAC :mjcry: shoutout @spliz

"Pac was like Jesus, Nas wrote the Bible"
- Cole channeled me with that one I'll always give him props for that:wow:

2pac was my introduction to rap. Always had him as #1, but since distant relatives, LIG, all the feature verses in the last decade and how Nas carried Hip-Hops legacy as not only a rapper but a poet, for me Nas took over as my GOAT.

I still love Pac just as much though. No one can match the passion, the leadership he had, his lyrical content on the mainstream stage.

We're beyond lucky to have a legend who was peers with 2 huge global icons (Pac and Big) still here dropping classic albums

I'm curious on other folks' thoughts; was Nas getting at anybody particularly on this album?
You don't brag and proclaim your best everness as much as he did on here without having a couple dikkheads in mind who either been talking crazy or trying to say they're the best, etc... Just his whole approach for this album period feels like he heard what these goofy nigs was saying about KD1 and KD2, as dope as they were...so he went right back to the essence and got dirty and hiphopy and bar heavy just to remind them not to get it fukked up.

I got Pac and Nas as my 1a and 1b. I don’t think it’s fair to Pac that he never got the chance to continue his discog because what he achieved already was phenomenal. Granted he also didn’t have the chance to fall off and hasn’t had to prove his longevity like Nas has but while he was here he was getting better and better

HitBoy too. Sampling Pete Rock from T.R.O.Y as Pete was hating after KD2. "Listen close as I prove my point" :lolbron::mjlol::mjlit::ehh: on Wave Gods
I ain’t even pick up on that. That’s ill. Lol

After these last 3 missiles from Nas he still aint clearly place himself as Number 1 and Pac had to move to Number 2?

Pac my number 3 behind Nas and Jigga...just because his career got clipped so early and them two aliens had the opportunity to keep rising

man it still something about the realness pac had. The way he talked in His interviews, the way he didn’t give a f about the media (unlike Jay). The way he just connected with people was unique

I think it was moreso aimed at fans and rap in general. So much GOAT talk these days revolves around Jay, Wayne, Kanye, Drake, Cole, Kdot, Future etc that he had to say hold on I’m still Nas.

It feels like a warning shot too. A wildly amazing, damn near perfect warning shot. KD3 in 2022 plus he’s allegedly on Em’s upcoming album and will be on Dre’s next album. And I think he’s going to be doing a lot of festivals in the summer/fall. Dunno if you guys have seen it on IG but there’s a lot of kiss the ring shyt going on, industry wise, with his manager. Kendrick is going to run next year, and managers tend to get all their artists booked when they have a big artist in the cards. I’d expect Kendrick, Nas, and Future to be on the same festival lineup at least once or twice next year.

:ohhh: word?!?? Fire!

Nas my nig since I was like 10 but I aint like his performance on that "EPMD 2" shyt with Eminem, he could have done a thousand times better...so I'm happy he's gonna be on some shyt with Eminem again so he could body him, lol. The Nas that's on this "Magic" vibe would smoke Em's boots

The bounce back the greatest feeling
When they thought that you was finished

And brehs were trying to tell me during the Kings Disease drop that we were not witnessing one of the great comeback stories because there was never obstacles to begin with. If you been paying attention you have seen the progression and perseverance. Nas believes it himself.
