NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
4.5 is INCREDIBLE fam. Thats basically flawless.

I’m more upset they only gave KD2 4 Stars. KD2 is the best out of the three in my opinion and deserves 5
I think KD deserves a 4.25. KD2 4.5. Magic 4.75. That’s how I would rate it. KD2 and Magic could be swapped tho depending on who u ask.

I think KD2 is an absolute classic. Don’t get me wrong i’m loving Magic but i’ve always PERSONALLY preferred Nas when he gives us conceptual songs, songs about his world view, songs with the life jewels and gems, amongst the spitting and bars. Its why albums like Streets Disciple, Hip Hop Is Dead, and Untitled are amongst my favorite albums, not just by Nas, but ANY artist. Because I feel those albums are truly indicative of who Nas was as an artist and human being at the time. KD2 gives me that same feeling. Songs like Nobody, Composure, Moments, Store Run, and My Bible are the Nas that no MC can possibly hope to match.

Crazy how good this is. Might be better than KD1&2. Gotta pass the final test this weekend with weed, headphones and zero distractions but it's in the conversation.

1.Magic
2. KD1
3. KD2

As a 90s head, I prefer when Nas is rapping over hard tracks. (Met Joe Black) more than vibe type of beats. (Brunch on Sunday’s)

Both are done masterfully though, but it’s a matter of preference.

I feel u. Which is why I said they are interchangeable. Reason I may rate Magic a LITTLE bit higher is because it’s just an easy listen I can run it back a million times with no time wasted.

I love their review. They know their shyt and are not bias like a lot of people. Only thing I'm not agree is when they say the nas & hit boy duo dropped better albums than gangstarr. Like nah. And better than I am ? It's debatable. The highs on I am are way higher but the hit boy albums are more consistent with no fillers. I am is the album I have the most trouble ranking. Same with Vol 2 from Jay. All theses 98 99 mainstream rap music aged weirdly

Was disappointed by their video overall.. They spent 80% of the time speaking about Jay.. shyt was unnecessary and a waste of time..

Yea this is part of the reason why Nas’ older albums like Illmatic and IWW stay on the charts. A bunch of younger gen reacting to them. It’s been this way for a couple years now.

So many positive reactions to IWW out there from younger reviewers. More evidence it was ahead of its time and aged like fine wine.

Pick a down on his luck rapper, bet he broke
With the arrogance of a crackhead mad at a weed smoker
Or a pill taker who hate a distilled wine drinker
A killer who use a gun to hate on a knife swinger
Aight, I get it, it’s who the litest, we in competition

I keep thinking about Joe Budden during this part of the verse. But its really just a ‘whoever the shoe fits’ type of bar.
