Magic was released too late. He would have to qualify for the next year Grammy and if KD3 drops them 2 can prolly be in the running together. What I will say is this album may help the decision making for KD2 tho.

Yep its going to be like when Taylor dropped Evermore. All that added hype and goodwill kept her name buzzing and helped her get AOTY.

Honestly I think its because Nas is independent now and he’s probably not even bothered about reviews at this point in his career to send advance review copies to the press. So they have to just listen like regular fans and it being the holidays the “professional” reviews will start trickling in next week.
