What's the Playlist look like if you took the best 15 tracks from these 3 albums?
can't stop playing "Dedicated"
I think he tours with Havoc& Noyd as their DJ last, I seen himU know what was another producer Nas had great chemistry with is L.E.S. What ever happened to dude?
Most played song from each Album?
KD1: 27 Summers
KD2: Count Me In
Magic: The Truth
Nas has mixed it up perfectly on kd1, kd2 and magic. None of these albums or songs sound the same at all. Between the 3 he has club songs, girl records, story telling, lyrical rap, Introspective rap, 90s sounding rap, trap. This is the beauty working with hitboy.The more i hear this album, the more i like it. Im gonna have to put it ahead of KD1. Nas spitting with so much bravado on here man I still want Nas to mix up the production on the next joint but i was harsh in my initial review as the beats being "good". They are above average. Salute to the GOAT
This exactly what I think every time I hear this verse open.Nas - Hollywood Gangsta
Listen to how he starts off the verse:
...The scars of martyrs (dead street legends), [are] the path a b*stard sees,
[The] effects of absentee fathers (no role models), [are] passed on with ease;
Hope the babies eat healthier (next generations), and may we get wealthier,
[So we] take what was not given, we ask for forgiveness, not permission
[Our] whole clique is each others counsellor...
That's how I heard that part of the verse and I love how Nas started off this verse. It sounds like it could be from 'Book of Rhymes' on a beat with bounce
Hahahahahhaa, yo, I swear I had the exact same thought. These old dudes sideways hating probably feel a way about that bar,"Same age but nikkas got mad grays/greys"
That's why they mad
