I'm not sure how you listen to Hit-Boy's albums with Nas, his album with Benny, his albums with Dom Kennedy, etc. and not think he has "sound variation". He has more than proven he's probably the most versatile producer out right now. He can give Nas grimy boom bap, he can give Nas soulful, he can give Nas modern sounds, etc. Like he can do it all.

I will say it is wild that his first song with Nas was Another Black Girl Lost. Talk about an upward trajectory lol.

Hearing Preem work with Royce makes me believe this statement is completely false. I wouldn’t mind a couple of tracks but Preem isn’t in his prime to do a whole Nas project.

Yeah unfortunately this how I kinda feel at this point. Premier's an absolute legend but some of his recent stuff has underwhelmed me. Definitely wouldn't be mad if the unreleased joints he's got with Nas (and I think there's a lot) came out though.

Some of Nas’ fans are NEVER satisfied. That’s why he does whatever he pleases to do for his music career. If Nas wanted to do an entire album with whomever he would have done so allready. Let the what if’s rest and enjoy the music he is gifting you with NOW! How can y’all not understand this already?

Anybody got Trust vibes when the 2nd beat on Dedicated came on? It's like I was expecting Nas to go "it's like a cold story, repeating over and over in the winters of my mind..."

Nas got a Grammy with Hit Boy then turned around and released a sequel that was the second most acclaimed Rap Album of the year THEN turned around and dropped a third album that is being pretty much universally praised by his fans.

Meanwhile Madlib can’t even release the album he recorded with Black Star because he forgot the samples he used and therefore can’t get them cleared…

If Nas did what fans wanted him to do he’d be right where Talib and Mos Def are right now…

Nowhere
The crazy thing is they know this already but with every Nas release they ask and complain about the same shyt. Nas would love to interact with fans more but he does not want the same old Producer questions he has been receiving for over 20 yrs. How has Nas evolved but some of his fans are still reliving 1994. The present time is a MAGICAL PLACE TO BE!

Lol @ y'all sayin Hit Boy ain't versatile...I coulda swore a track like Wave Gods was actually a Primo beat or a Pete Rock beat but it was actually a Hit-Boy beat, Preem just did the scratches. (my fav track on the album btw, love that nostalgic feel)

Hit gave Nas many different sounds. Commercial sound (Brunch on Sundays, Composure, YKTV), he got those soul type beats (Moments, Nas is Good, Wave Gods, Wu for the Children) and he can do grimy/ boom bap too.... (Speechless, Meet Joe Black, 40-16)

So wtf y'all talkin bout Hit-Boy ain't versatile lol?

Some of y'all still want that Nas/ Primo or Nas/ Pete rock album.....this ain't 2001 my brehs. That ship sailed.

Death Row East had that West Coast bop to it too.
