There's nothing wrong with someone saying an album you love is "cool", lol, yall too emotional about Nas...I am a stan too, don't get it twisted, but come on yall. To be fair, I didn't hear Lupe's take yet, I'm just going off of the posts in here, it sounds like the worst thing he said was Nas was inspired by others with some of the flows and shyt. That's not a terrible thing to say, that's normal in hip hop, everybody is influenced by everybody else whose music they've been listening to a lot. You know how many Lupe songs I've heard where he clearly was inspired by Nas with the flows and cadences and shyt? I'm sure he'd admit it.

Yall know my views on Lupe so I'm not even gonna enter that discussion. I will say, just based on reading these posts from you guys...The Truth def reminded me of Cole but moreso the beat. It has the Cole type bounce, and sounds like it could have been on The Offseason. Hollywood Gangsta too.

Like how Applying Pressure flows beat wise, and the way it leads to the flow used on there.

I think we know how Lupe operates, so that's why people were shyttin on what he has to say plus Nas didn't work with him on projects or has gave him "guest feature", when he literally said it's time for him to have more features with new leaders(hence no co sign)..
