LMFAO now Lupe a clown cuz he not hype for the album like yall, but when he was doing the live review of KD2 praising it, he wasnt a clown lmao

He’s always been a weirdo type nikka full stop. He’s who backpack fans want Nas to be like, but Nas never been corny like dude.

Incredible rapper but he’s been a bit over the top with his Nas/love hate relationship comes across like Jay 96-2000, your idol barely acknowledges you so you feel a way.

It does sound a bit like J Cole I get it, but it’s like you think Nas sound like these rappers but they really took their style or some of it from him.

But Lupe been a weirdo nothing new
I can drop a million songs where this nikka Lupe rapping exactly like Jay Z. But it’s whatever not everybody gonna feel everything.

some of what Lupe saying his true. He’s not feeling Meet Joe Black and yeh some of the flow on there and punchlines pretty basic compared to other songs on the album but to keep saying Nas taking Cole’s flow is ridiculous

Dude your shtick is getting old. You're like captain save-any-rapper-that-a-nas-fan-speaks on.

Weirdo stuff. You've been doing it for years, too.

Anyways, Lupe never praised KD2 as a complete body of work like some of you have made it seem. Dude literally said he only liked "the pressure" and "Nobody" after dissecting the whole album. Most of that live was him going on and on about "it aint hard to tell" and the opening bars on Nobody. Not much else.

Hmm. Yes it was Nobody that he was goin the hardest for. Still. The way he did this project verses that was pretty different. He flat out was trying to freestyle over Nas’ rhymes. Not even really listening etc etc.

I b with you to crack on nas Stan’s too but let’s be real. That might be the reason lupe acting that way to this type of album being extra with it. Nas tried that flow before on I am and even did it on rare but it wasn’t noted then? Track record is proven once nas doesn’t do something for someone they turn girlie on nas. Let’s keep it real spk. And lupe swore he was gonna have a track with son. Guess that didn’t work out. :ahh:

Yall know my views on Lupe so I'm not even gonna enter that discussion. I will say, just based on reading these posts from you guys...The Truth def reminded me of Cole but moreso the beat. It has the Cole type bounce, and sounds like it could have been on The Offseason. Hollywood Gangsta too.

Like how Applying Pressure flows beat wise, and the way it leads to the flow used on there.

Just listening again and Nas rhyme schemes still A+. Nas gets boxed in by lot of people weirdly as more a poetic guy and don’t really talk about how good he is technically while they wax lyrical about other rappers technical skill. But breh still a monster from a technical standpoint. As Lupe said after reacting to Nobody, rappers could base a whole career and flow off just one of the rhyme schemes/ flows on that

My younger cousin 32 (she loves Drake and all newer rappers)literally broke it down for me and I even think all rappers think like this..

She said cuz, "Nas is a fukkin different animal..
I don't judge him against these guys, why even try "
