Nah i like 1-800-Nas & Hit-Boy as the outro because it ends the entire run on a triumphant, upbeat, positive note whereas No Tears is kind of sad. Its kind of hard for me to listen to that song because it makes me think about my father (RIP)

Ok so I looked and it looks like some late reviews actually have Billy Woods Maps as the number 1 critically acclaimed rap album of 2023 at a Metacritic score of 90 so that places Magic 3 tied for third


1). Maps 90/100
2). Sundial 87/100
3. Magic 3/ Scaring The Hoes 86/100

Wow. They rated two Nas albums a 4.5 back to back. That's rare for them to do for any artist. I have KD3 and Magic 3 neck and neck. That rating aligns with how I feel about both albums. To me, KD3 is a classic Nas album and Magic 3 isn't far behind.

Wish Nas would have worked both albums a little more. I know he caught the holy ghost and was inspired to drop the music but these albums all deserved multiple video treatments and promo runs.

Hip Hop media didn’t do Nas right at ALL with everything he accomplished these last three years. Really with everything he accomplished in the last 5 years because Lost Tapes 2 was fire and kind of set the Mass Appeal era off.

Appreciate that. I’ve heard all those albums aside from Maps, which is crazy. I’ll have to give it a listen. I like noname but I'm not sure why this album is so highly regarded.

That was a Top 3 jawn for me on there when I first heard it…came to the Coli tho and it seemed like this was the consensus least favorite,
