I really feel like we're getting songs on these albums that would have never left the studio if this was 2003 Nas or 2013 Nas. "Rare," "Car #85," "Beef," "Speechless," this song. They all sound like songs that could have been on The Lost Tapes (either version).
I think my favorite lines from the song might be "Now I hold meetings over cold sake and Kobe beef/Hockey jersey, a hoodie underneath." Nas is great at saying something simple and making it sound like the coolest thing you ever heard. Now you can picture him arranging a business deal at the Russian Tea Room wearing a Devils jersey.
