Yeah loved Rare, especially since it released on the same day as the album if I remember well. OK I was harsh there because this one was actually pretty creative and different than what you have elsewhere.

The others..meh I could do without them, actually totally forgot there was one for Wave Gods.

I think I just don't look at youtube vids like before but there's something really fly about the Big Nas vid that really overshadows all the others for me

Thought the Ugly video was cool too

Nah nas from Vernon bld 40 side. Mega is from the next building to nas so very close. When you actually go to qb you realize that although they from the same neighborhood 40th side of Vernon and 41st side 12th are at the very opposite of the project. It's almost like two different world. Queensbridge is huge. But the majority of the famous people in qb are from the 41st side (Shante shan nature tragedy mobb deep infamous mobb ron artest marley marl...)

Ok so Nas, Mega, Wiz and the majority of the Bravehearts are from the 40th Side.

I always knew QB was so large and there were so many fractions its was like different hoods within hoods I just get confused on who is from which side as they’ve beefed and made up so many times it gets confusing.

Prodigy talks about running into Jungle the first time he was ever in QB and Jungle busting his gun and everybody running. Then he talks about Havoc taking him to battle Nas and that by that time Nas was considered the second best in the hood after Mega (who was locked up) and he wrote that going to Nas side was like “A Journey” so i’m like how the fukk far away WERE these nikkas if Havoc was supposedly relatively close to Nas?

Call me bias, but I have zero problem playing all these Nas and hit boy albums straight through without skipping a song :manny:

Me either. Sometimes I’m not in the mood for the row of chick songs on KD1 but thats just a matter of where my headspace is as oppose to any lacking of quality from those joints

Wifey loves them string of songs so I can never skip them haha she loves that lil durk record too

They’re all good songs especially All Bad and Til The War Is Won I just never been a fan of stringing together girl songs one after the other on albums. I get the concept. Replace Me is the “Chase”. Til The War Is Won is the “honeymoon phase” where your deeply in love and want to protect and provide with all of your being. All Bad is the breakup and the heartache that comes with it.

Conceptually it all makes sense. Just not big on it lol

49 Years old and literally the FACE of Hip Hop’s anniversary.

Travis Scott sold more albums and nobody cares.

Jay-Z is the most hyped but couldn’t pull off his own festival

Drake is the most popular but can’t write his own lyrics

Kendrick is most adored but can’t release an album every year.

Nas stands supreme at the top

You expected Jay-Z to do ANYTHING that didn’t place HIM front and center?

The Brooklyn Museum exhibit is the closest you’ll get and thats celebrating 50 years of JAY-Z lmao
