I like some of the Nastradamus songs way more than any HHID songs, it's just that the lows of this album...sheesh. There's legit only a few Nas ALBUM songs I just can't stand to ever listen to, straight skip - and Nastradamus has two of them back to back.I like 3 songs on that list MOB Still Dreaming Black Republican was cool kinda a let down. I think I just higher expectations for the album. Just overall wasn't what it could've been imo
I get it the Nastradamus criticisms similar to I Am. I just hold those songs higher than the HHID. Let me not hijack this thread thoughI respect your opinion but you buggin (respectfully)
Nastradamus is just wayyyyyyyyyy too uneven for me. Hip Hop Is Dead not only is a great album its got some of Nas most inspired production. Scott Storch, Will I Am, Kanye and Dre LACED that album and L.E.S made an EPIC beat for Nas and Jay to have they’re first (and best) collab.
NO album with Big Girl and Nastradamus (single) can be better than HHID
co-sign all of this. Heard it first on AirPods (wack) then bumped in the ride (doper)Avoided the thread so i could let the album sit with me
Off first listen i was not too impressed, not because the rapping or beats weren't good.. it didn't follow the sound/spirit of the first Magic...hard hitting beats and rhymes.
Once i got over that fact, the album is pretty good.. the intro is annoying as fck though
The 50 feature track wasn't what I expected either.
3.5/5 imo. It falls short of the bar set by the KD and Magic series...which is a high bar so i aint mad it.

How do y’all not like abracadabra??? That song is sonically crazyy. Nas floated on that jointco-sign all of this. Heard it first on AirPods (wack) then bumped in the ride (doper)
Found it uneven. Hate the stilted trap flow on Abracadabra. That flow is easily his worst. Picks up from Bokeem on. What it really means and Pistols are the pinnacle and the ones I go back to. The 50 joint was whatever, phoned in shyt.
3/5. When it's on it's but when it's not it's

Not feeling the flow. That start-stop-start shyt is grating to my ears. How do y’all not like abracadabra??? That song is sonically crazyy. Nas floated on that joint
This. Plus game level name drops of rappers actors and products and 3 word hooksI dunno how y'all deal with this. Nas done put out the same album 5 times in 2 years and y'all love it. Maybe it's me because it all comes across as "Remember when?" rap and it was cool for a while but, 5 albums of it in a short period of time is ALOT. Like rapping about sitting with Kool G Rap and drinking Old E's in 2023 is WILD.
Motion is the first song on the album for me that is on the level of the last releases. The intro and abracadabra are not getting play over here. Black magic is cool. Overall the misteps on this album stop it from being as solid as the other releases. The first magic is not an album you play without playing through. This one a lot of people are not doing thatHow do y’all not like abracadabra??? That song is sonically crazyy. Nas floated on that joint
