The highest streaming songs from this era are the ones with younger guests. One Mic One Gun got 28 million Spotify stream, Spicy got 28 million, Wave Gods got 24 million

The Premier track from last year got 1.3 million

The stuck in the 90s crowd will still go to shows but they'd go if LIG was his last album. They ain't streaming or buying vinyls anyway. Nas best off just doing what he feel like doing, without overly catering to anyone either direction

Which is why I’m a bit perplexed Nas hasn’t done a official song with Kendrick Drake or Cole yet.

Nas is my Goat but saying he recently dropped 2 classics is bugging. None of these 5 albums can stand along side certified classics like Illmatic, It Was Written or Stillmatic. These are solid probably 4.0 Mic projects and Esco definitely is aging gracefully and his flow is still there but let's not get carried away. Honestly I wish he would lock in with another producer. The Hit Boy cat is cool but I always feel something is missing with these projects.

Yeah as good as this run has been calling any of these albums classics is of the moment stannery

And Nasir wasn’t an ultra hot album and these albums are better so what else do you think the reason is?

That album gotta lotta spins cause of the hype and that record sustained. My only other guess is the Persian sample was popular cause I seen some talk about that
