Frank Ocean dropped his album without a video, he's not done any interviews, 1 ? TV-appearance, dude is basically underground and has lyrics that are as advanced as the most advanced rap lyrics if not more so. And his album is without a doubt the album of the year.LOL....i knew that if cats like Chris Brown and F Ocean are doing 100k - 130k or so in thisclimate aint no way Nas is gonna do more than that.
I mean Nas deserves to go gold but the perception of Nas is that he is more true school with star quality who makes intelligent sounding music that typically goes over people's heads. Most consumers are brain dead sheep so the average consumer aint checkin for Nas like that..... mostly the die hard fans are.

Lol @ cause he did 130k, Nas can't do more? And when Nas did 180k in 09, Chris Brown did 100k 1 year after that. With the marketing budget, the videos, the TV and radio presence Nas should be able to match their #s.
if he was prohecttd to sell 200 and did 187k that's not a huge margin. Going from 135k projected to not cracking at least 100k is a HUGE miscalculation which almost never happens with Hits Daily predictions
