How about not complaining about shyt and if you gone to deviate from the topic of Nas giving his fans and the culture 4 dope albums in 2 yrs at least talk about what you appreciate about Nas.

Talk about what Nas is doing to celebrate 50 yrs of hip hop. How about advocating for another music video bc KD3 is full of visuals y’all would like to see. How about advocating for Nas to interact more with fans. Talk about how Nas being a 30 yr vet in hip hop and how his musical run is unprecedented. But no some of y’all make the conscious choice to express your dislike and nitpick about who produces his album and the topics he speaks about on his album. It shouts lack of appreciation, it’s rude and it’s fukking disrespectful.

By the way the shyt discussed on this thread is serious bc words are powerful and when his so called fans can only find fault in his present and past work as a deviation of conversation from his present art that shyt should be taken seriously.

As Nas has told y’all he sees and hears all things from haters and fans. It is disheartening for an artist to give his audience what they ask for at different stages and albums released throughout his career and all he receives is complaints as a result.

Thankfully, his God given talent and respect for the culture is what keeps him wanting to give back to the art form that has given him so much.

WITH LOVE IS HOW NAS IS MOVING!

I think it comes with the territory. Think about it, a Nas fan thought it was cool to remix Nas's most personal album because he wanted to hear Nas over beats he thought Nas sounded better over. That's how we got God's Stepson.

I don't know why premos name is being mentioned here. I haven't seen one post of anyone wanting a nas and premo album. Everybody knows that premo is washed in 2022.

The only names I see dudes saying nas should work with is alc and madlib because they are producing goats that are still relevant.

@Ziggiy i hear what you're saying bro but you keep equating views and numbers to quality of music and that's just not reality. All it means is that the album attracted all the casuals.

And I don't remember anyone saying lost tapes 2 was gonna bring back boom Bap lol. Alc and griselda already did that. U mention nas and ye turning out to be wack, we all know why that turned out wack, but we have solid proof that alc wouldn't fumble that bad.

We know this why? Because the best projects from
Gibbs, spitta, action bronson, body James, roc Marciano and arguably prodigy were All produced by Alchemist.

Alchemist 100% is that guy, if you're collabing with him, you'll get you're best project. Alc has never fumbled a nas placement in his life.

According to Apple Replay, my most played songs from the album are:

1) Serious

2) Michael & Quincy (thought this would've been #1, but I played "Serious" a lot on my initial listens)

3) 30

4) Get Light

5) Reminisce

:dahell:

Nas ain't reading this thread.

90% of the people in here are praising the album but you're acting like it's 90% complaints. This is how discussions go. It's not just an echo chamber.

With all the buzz around the Hov line I thought that Thun would be top 5:jbhmm:

with him making a playful cameo in the video during that line. being driven in something pristine or on a private plane with some type of face reaction reading nas txt message.

Everybody's so quick to flip or say they with the shyts
They go against someone look just like them
But when the enemy has government powers
They become cowards, they cut the tough guy shyt
When they arrest, when they come cuff your kids
They give us criminal records, because of where we live
And the money is low, and narcotics are thriving
It's evil, we diagnosed with something that's untreatable
Feel powerless so brothers only have beef with you
So you on your murder shyt 'cause that's what you see them do
Well, let me tell you somethin'
Many go on GBG, Get Back Gang, who gon' rest in peace?

that type of shyt resonates at least for me it does if you can't fukk with shyt like that:camby:
