Y'all not going to agree with me on this but the
way Nas was floating on Reminisce when the
drill beat kicked in and how crazy the beat sounded.
I'm sorry but I would've extended the drill part
for another song possibly a remix and threw Ice Spice on it lol
and I'm dead serious about that. Nas would've had to write her verse tho.
That song would shut NY radio down.

I said the same, Ice spice/Cardi b on the remix do a video, it makes sense there’s obvious moves to make that Mass Appeal should be pushing for, Nas is the artist but his team is there to push him and this album it should be on them to push these moves.

Bro it makes all the sense in the world.. Especially since he doesn't have a problem embracing the youth.

Yup. Now it makes sense. Hit's production got the same feel as those premade melodies that came on every Casio keyboard back in the day.

Hit Boy's most famous beat is exactly that:

Wu For the Children is also lifted straight from a sample pack:

I knew the Wu sample wasn't from an actual song. He threw the vocal samples on there to make it sound like it was from a soul record but the loop is missing the texture that a sample has. If you're someone who pays close attention to production and listens to a lot of Madlib, Alchemist, and other sample based producers then listens to Hit Boy you'll pick up on this.

With all the love the album is getting I still think it deserves a lot more! Nas is truly incomparable! In a time where mc skills and songs having meanings don’t matter Nas makes an entire album by himself where every song is conceptual!

I’m on Fire should have a tik tok challenge including basketball highlights or NBA support!

Nas obviously doesn't care but his team could be doing a lot more.. The best promotion I've seen has come from Hit-Boy. Dude is on social media everyday riding hard for the album. I love that about him. There's just a lack of creativity and ingenuity with his team. Much better ideas get floated around here everyday.

The man is about to hit 50. He just wants to put the music out. The days of running around doing interviews, press runs, and promo been over. He's on his own label so any moves being made or not made are his own decisions.

If he needed the money he would probably promote more but his investments outside of music bring in so much there's no point.

Yea and dudes hated when I said most of his beats sound flat. This is exactly why. You can always tell something is off. It's the same feel when producers remake a sample with a live band. Doesn't matter how close you get, it just never has the same richness of the OG.

But I always knew something was up with dudes beats. At least I finally know why now. I feel vindicated at least. I mean the beats are still solid, but the cheapness of them always threw me off.

Some of the beats sound flat, which is why they don't really translate live. But I wouldn't say all or most do. There's sometimes a feel of a finished Hit Boy beat sounding like something that needs to go to (pre-madness) Kanye, Metro Boomin, etc to actually finish it. But that's not a common sentiment for me, like I said.

No. NOT Ice Spice. There's way better Drill chick's out there. Case in point. These chick's better than most nikkas on that scene.

Nas doesn't have to do anything. Like I said I'm sure he doesn't care, but his team does care. That's a fact. Our Twitter girl has made that known. There's things they can do to help bring visibility to this stuff without Nas even getting up off the couch.

Naw Ice Spice hot right now
and my suggestion was for Nas to actually write her verse. It's no way I'm letting her rap next to Nas unchecked lol

No. She's dirt. Cardi I understand. But yall don't know. Kenzo B is hot in the streets and was hot way longer than Ice Spice. The youth don't fukk wit Ice Spice. Just a bunch of horny nikkas. Kenzo B had next until Drake flew Ice Spice out and gave her a cosign. So she leapfrogged Kenzo just off that. Young Devyn up next too she nasty wit it. Anyone plugged into the Drill scene will tell u this.
