Bro both me and u know how this game work and that how both me and you know this nikka QM ain't write rhymes for Nas.
Agreed. I hope Hit Boy or QM says something about this. I remember seeing the interview months ago and while I faintly wondered if someone would make a thread about the Nas shyt, it never crossed my mind it would become a big thing (here). In fact I don't remember anyone really talking about it in the Coli Rory and Mal thread either, at the time.

We know how QM raps/writes. We know how Nas raps/writes. There really isn't a connection there at all where a serious person could hear The Pressure and say oh that's Quentin right there. Hook sure, that has his sound. The vocal stuff yea, he probably wrote that for Don Tolliver. But the verses? It makes zero sense.

Another thing I didn't like about his comments was him talking about Meek asking him to write for him. Everybody knows I don't fukk with Meek but even I'd defend him on this. QM clearly was talking about hooks. Meek doesn't need help with bars, he's not that type of artist. QM is really good at hooks, bridges, shyt like that. I still fukk with that Drake album to this day, it's probably his second best (IYRTITL). But the way Drake sing raps on those tracks is totally different from the way Nas raps, or the way Meek raps...or the way Jeezy raps. People here just want to shyt on Nas. I'm done with that thread until someone official speaks up in a tweet or IG post.

Peep this. He just bounced ideas. That's it. No bars. But I don't like the way son move. He moves in a sneaky snake way to try to make his resume seem more extravagant. Same way he tried to insert one line on a Kanye song to say he worked with Ye on his resume but ASAP Rocky dubbed him.

Damn well in this case I'm heading back in there to clown a couple posters I can't stand lol. I didn't know QM responded.

Like I said earlier I do feel some sympathy for him because he should be UP right now, with songwriting credits on a multi plat album. Instead he basically got nothing but a beat down. That sucks. But at the same time he should be better about handling his business and not speaking on artists in a casual, flippant manner. That's on him and is his fault. Especially given that Hit Boy went out his way to get him paid.

Clickbait title but heres Boosie defending Nas to Vlad. Also trust Vlad to still think Nas on Def Jam.

good comeback from boosie. I just wish when vlad said he ain’t shifting the music how 21 or drake is… his response should have been “You think they shifting the music of just playing to the trend”? And like somebody said. vlad know nas ain’t on def jam and said that to cover up. And boosie should have said “if he got you constantly having to talk about him, he’s obviously relevant. Do you talk this much about any other mc’s”. It’s obvious to anyone that nas doesn’t cater to the trend. surprised boosies response was good like that though.
