them bars about chain Allah, you God body allah, crosses

I ain't feel a way about it, told her pray about it

I ain't been on the train in decades and I can still hear the wheels on the track

2 crosses like a hashtag

jeepers creepers America's a baby teething, shytting on itsself waiting for its next feeding...its not even a toddler yet. Gang members got nothing on these congressmen...

Album full of lines that stay in my head.

You got Gods Son over Stillmatic?

My top 5 right now would be

Illmatic
IWW
stillmatic
Lost Tapes
KD3
Yeah for me it always hit harder.

Full disclosure though I just realized that I've been listening to GS without The Cross on it for years now, for some albums I just make playlists and take out shyt. I might have to give KD3 that #4 spot after all because as much as Nas kills that shyt... I cannot ignore that weak ass beat and it kills my argument for ranking KD3 over all the other excellent Nas albums.

Actually positive! Since those guys grade everything on a seemingly negative curve a 7.1 is pretty strong from them :mjlol:

He gave DaBaby and Aesop Cack better ratings :mjlol::picard:

Where do they find these cacs :why:

He def one of those cacs that rate everything Nas do base on how much it sound like Illmatic :comeon: "eh it's good but no Illmatic. Illmatic is so gnarly dudes what an awesome album it totally changed my life dude hip hop pinnacle" :skip::camby:

Its not a popular opinion here but the way a lot of people feel about IWW is what I feel about I Am, for me its his second best album. I got Stillmatic and KD2 at 3 and 4. Coin flip between God’s Son, LIG and DR for 5.

I think Pitchfork ratings are done by committee, so it's not just that writer, but their cacs of the roundtable. So no matter what, anything that we might find good or worthy will get shytted on. Anything that's dumb and easy listening will get a bump in the score. 7.1 is actually great when you consider how they come up with it.

I would rank till my last breath higher, but I'm a biased Mets fan, and I can see why people feel the way they feel about that beat.

That song is also better than spicy and yltv

Illmatic could come out now and they would have rated it the same. It don’t matter what he drop with them.

I wanted to let this album sit with me for at least a week before I commented in this thread.

This album is incredible. This is exactly what I want as a Nas fan.

And for this to follow Magic?! Insane.

This elevates what already was the best discography in hip hop.
You ain’t lying. I’m glad you sat with it
