NaS's 16th Top 10 Album on Billboard Hot 200 and his 18th Top 10 Album on the R&B/Hip Hop Album Charts across Multiple Decades (90's, 00's, 10's, 20's). (Including Compilations/Collabo Albums). What a Historic Run. Also Please stop comparing some of these Rappers to NaS. They do not have his Stripes or Rank in the Game. They also have show they can still move units 30 years deep (Streaming won't save some them in down the line either). This is what real relevance looks like. 30 years of people supporting you. Some streams were left on the table because in this era you do need a music video to help with streaming.
But it's all good. NaS said he didn't really want to do huge Promo anymore at this stage in his career. But he did go on the Trevor show. What I love about NaS's career is he's proven that people love his Albums not just the singles or hits. People want the full body of work. Overall these streaming rules are a damn mess but the majority of NaS's career sales are physical units sold. He already got plenty of Platinum and Gold Albums. I commend him for being this relevant on the Charts for almost 30 years. I believe Snoop and NaS are only ones still charting from the Early 90's (Though NaS has done better than Snoop's recent projects). Pac and Big have also had albums on the charts as far as Early 90's rappers too (Tribe went #1 in 16 also) We are really in uncharted territory. Ironically Rock Legend Bruce Springsteen is back on the charts too right above NaS.
