Hot New Hip Hop review
No Score but VERY FAVORABLE

“With Nas and Hit-Boy firing on all cylinders for the past two years, fans anxiously wondered if they could sustain this high-caliber execution. Well, truth be told, they established a stamp of quality that they continue to uphold. Together, they made Nas’ most consistent and awe-inspiring album in decades with King’s Disease III.”

ish whole body language screams “I’m a hater and I’m mad this nikka is this good at this age and my fav isn’t consistently putting out quality music like this”
I was listening to Buddens podcast on the way to work but I didn't see the video until now, damn that nikka Ish looks salty asf...the other 3 are raving and praising the album and this nikka sitting there with his arms folded like "It's aight:hmm:" Even Joe noticed, he said "You was raving and excited talking about the Meg thee Stallion album but you quiet now:laugh:"

the run from Ghetto Reporter to Reminisce is ridiculous. Can't remember a start to an album to be that good for that long in a long ass time. Personally the album dips ever so slightly with Serious (still a great song but those first 8 tracks are flawless)

Don’t act like that with a back like that….uhhhhh

That’s my shyt haaaaaa

I’m late but finally finished the album.

-Started off a lil hit or miss which had always been my nitpicking gripe with Hit Boy and Nas. Cliche as it is, the ‘beat selection’ is sometimes off. But then…

-From track 8 Reminisce on blew me away. I kept waiting for the ‘I’ll probably skip this’ song and it never came. :ahh:

-Lyrically, this one feels different. :scusthov: Seems like more focused topics which imo brings out the best in Nas

-favorite tracks: damn near the whole 2nd half. But Once a Man, Reminisce, Dont Shoot might be the classics

Is it the best of the 4 collabs? Too early to say. It’s no coincidence that every album they drop people say it’s the best :heh: The excitement needs to wear off and let things settle but this *feels* like it’s on a different level from all that others
