What do Nasir & Kendrick have in common besides being two dope emcees?
They both take the similar laid back approach when it comes to the music. They never rush their albums and both have had similar albums in the way of subject matter. They fall in the several boxes, conscious, boom bap, mainstream story tellers. They both can do it all.

They have a rep for integrity in their craft. They do their own thing and not chasing trends. Grew their base from underground and street level. They're both now regarded on a higher plane. They both lead relatively quiet and private existences.

Both released compilations of unreleased and leaked songs that went onto become critically acclaimed.

Both are Grammy winners for Best Rap Album

Both made videos referencing police brutality within the black community

Both made albums centered around the Black experience in America which spoke on politics, religion, racism, discrimination, and the celebration of black American culture

Both released revered and acclaimed debut albums which were considered impactful for their lyrical and conceptual content

Both released Sophomore albums which were their first albums to debut at number 1 and catapulted them into superstars

Both helped to reestablish the prominence of their hoods of origins after a period of mainstream lull. Kendrick representing Compton and Nas representing Queensbridge.

Both have collaborated with Jay-Z

Both have collaborated with Mary J Blige

Both have collaborated with Dr. Dre

Both are quiet and reluctant to comment on their personal lives outside of music
All true but something even better.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Y’all think this is better than Life is Good?
If we talkin bout the LIG non deluxe version. This is better. Being that the deluxe version of LIG is literally the only version I ever purchased or listened to. KD2 is around the same tier to me. I wouldn't be made if someone felt LIG is better and vice versa. I will say LIG has higher highs. KD2 is more consistent throughout.
