Listening to The Pressure really hits all the more harder when you see someone like Kanye caving into the crazy expectations he set for Donda and not really delivering whereas Nas makes dropping classic music just sound so easy and seamless.

Hit Boy’s boast a month ago holds all the more weight. It was just HIM and NAS in a studio making magic. Some of the songs on Donda count TEN producers and NINE writers, for ONE SONG:mindblown:

Nas pen is one of the sharpest in the game and Hit Boy’s beats are incredible. They showing all these “artists” how to you supposed to do it:banderas:

That’s the thing about KD and especially KD2. It just sounds so natural. The organic nature of recording really comes across in the final product.

Funny thing about this whole conversation is that I’m pretty sure Nas said he didn’t really pick the final track list for Untitled either. He kept getting knocked back so in the end he just submitted a whole lot of possible songs and LA Reid signed off the ones on the album. And that’s why he did The N****** Tape. Nas never does mixtapes to coincide with albums but he still wanted to put those songs out.

granted Untitled is still and incredibly dope album, but it wasn’t what Nas originally envisioned.

Do you have a source for this? I could actually see Nas wanting certain songs on the album that didn't make it (like "Proclamation").

Was "Letter to the King" made for Untitled? Because him and Game could have swapped it with "Make the World Go Round."
