How you hear No Phony Love and think he talking about Mobb Deep? On another note Quiet Storm sets are the GOAT radio sets.
People are listening to this album and the lyrics are either flying over their heads or they just aren't getting it.
Nas is one of the all time greats at story telling in Hip Hop.
He does it in such a way that sometimes we can't see it, or
take it for granted. And when Hitboy crafts the beats around
his story telling it is something special.

Given the subject matter on No Phony Love I thought Nas was referring to Smokey Robinson Quiet Storm and not Mobb Deep Quiet Storm
I’m sure a lot of people heard quiet storm radio programming at some point but didn’t know what it was called.

Just how streaming works. Unless it's a single the final tracks on albums have less streams. Sequence wise labels want to front load an album with a big track because if it's a hit you kind of double dip because anyone who listens to the album for the first time will automatically hear it plus people who love it will play it multiple times.
Think about how DNA off DAMN debuted in the top 10 when the album dropped, or Nonstop off Scorpion did crazy numbers too.
