RD and BP1 have average songs but when the HELL did Hola Hovito become one of them?!!?:wtf: That song SLAPS

I always liked that song, but the third verse kinda brings it down (a little lazy plus that Biggie line).

The only songs on Blueprint that I don’t like are "Jigga That nikka" and the remix to "Girls, Girls, Girls."

Kings Disease 3 The Final Chapter..
Featuring Outkast.. The Juice Crew...Sade and some young rapper who's poppin at the time.

Would be dope to hear MC Shan, Roxanne Shante, G Rap, Marley Marl, and BDK spit some cold verses in 2021, especially if Hit-Boy got the perfect beat formula for them to ride :wow:

FWIW Kings Disease 2 will debut at 13 on the UK album chart this week which is his 3rd Top 20 album in the UK (which is kinda crazy given how popular hes always been in the UK even SD Went Plat here)
For some perspective, KD 1 debuted at Number 24

UK loves Nas and hip hop in general. I know a bunch of legacy acts tour over there and eat GOOD.

Didn’t Jeru The Damaja move there permanently?

Hey, while it might be too early to rank KD2 amongst Nas' discography, i believe it will be almost impossible for him to drop now something that can compete with the memories we have from Illmatic/IWW/Stillmatic/Lost Tapes. Those were genre defining moments in Hip-hop and it's not an easy thing to achieve again 30 years deep in your career.

But something I've noticed, while their highs cannot match the highs of his best work ever, aren't KD and especially KD2 among the albums with the less skip tracks in his whole career?

I mean, if i had to rank his albums from less skips to most, i'd have both KD's real high

Maybe Like :

Lost Tapes
Illmatic
IWW
KD2
Godson
KD
Stillmatic
Life is Good

And then the rest in no order, haven't thought about it that far, maybe

I have NEVER heard anyone say that. That song dope as fukk and got some of Hov’s best braggadocio bars.

The glaring black eye of BP1 has always been Jigga That nikka. I’ve never met a single person even Hov stans who like that song:huhldup:

The common consensus was that and JTN were the skips. I hated those songs

Not sure but I know Doom did and a few other cats

Just to add regarding his UK chart placement this would be seond highest debut since Life is Good at 8

These old dudes grumbling about beats really looking funny in the light. The reaction to this album has been incredibly positive, this is the shyt a lot of people wanted from Nas. Even the Hovavengers (Budden, Rory, Mal, Elliot Wilson) have heaped praise on this album; all them loved the first one too. Pete Rock and these other dudes sounding real old and corny right now. I’m not gonna expect a 50yo+ dude to like a trap beat but…you can’t appreciate the beat on Nobody?

Dream Hampton prob fukks with this album lmao. If you hating because it’s not “the essence” you look crazy.

Bro these boom bap/UGHH tribalists are hilarious...I had a dude try to say RJ Payne dropped a better album than this :mjlol:
