“I don’t like/or I hate the album cover.”

“He wasn’t lyrical enough on KD.”

“I hope the songs are longer bc KD was too short.”

“KD is a wack album.”

“I hope he makes 27 Summers longer.”

“I hope Hitboy not involved.”

“These rumored features are wack/horrible.”

“I’m not interested unless it’s DJ Premier.”

“Nas last few releases have been trash.”

“Are Jay, Kanye or Drake gone to release on the same day?”

“I hope he not expecting to win another Grammy.”

“KD2 is a bunch of old reworked songs.”

“What happened to the other album he was working on before KD?”

“I want more Az & Nas.”

Why is he releasing a another album less than a year?”

“Why is he naming it KD2? It’s not like Nas to have a sequel to his albums.”

yall gotta let that nerd sh*t go where every f*ckin year the same dorks be saying "he needa get with preemo, large pro, pete rock, alchemist" like let that sh*t go brehs :mjlol:

Nas is an evolving artist and has always been, that's why he's been able to last near damn 30 f*ckin years! :blessed:

and to some of the bums saying he need to get madlib :stopitslime: da f*ck, wtf does madlib gotta do with Nas in his whole career? nobody in real life says that, that sounds like some white boy trying to sound cool on reddit sh*t :mjlol: i can promise you NOBODY is asking for a Madlib produced anything let alone Nas :jawalrus:

Even Eminem learned to let some new producers produce his joints and lowkey might've found chemistry with DA Got That Dope :hubie:

I'd love to hear Nas with some of the new elite producers, sh*t T-Minus might be a good fit for Nasir besides Hit Boy or even Mustard. But for now HIT BOY got the hot hand and we gon let the GOAT cook :ahh:

Call DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor, Madlib, and Alchemist beats "nerd shyt" hip-hop brehs.

:dead:

I'm as big a Nas stan as anyone on here but let's be real: Nasir was super underwhelming and one of the most notable examples of Kanye's lackluster output over the past decade or so. Keep that goofy away from Nas. We don't need none a that. And I'm not Monday morning quarterbacking either. I was the first one in that Long Island City listening party stream thread that was like :patrice: and kept the same energy when the album dropped.

Claim one of your dreams was to produce an album for Nas and fail bigtime, c00n schizo brehs.

Nasir is 100% on Kanye and Mike Dean. Nas didn’t rap to those beats which is why it sounds off, and the mix is off which makes it even more off beat. The beats that made the album are largely lazy, even the ones I fukk with like White Label. There are a couple standout tracks (Simple Things, Adam & Eve) but overall it’s just not good IMO. Needed more time to cook instead of being thrown out there half assed after a Mike Dean rush job.

fukk Mike Dean btw. I don’t get viewing Nasir and KD as equal or near equal albums when one was rushed and the other was the product of an amazing process plus great relationship between rapper and producer.

The bolded was mine and that has nothing to do with Nas. It’s more to do with the bytch ass grammy committee and how they treat him.

Kanye fukked Nas over big time with that whole release. In multiple ways.

Mike Dean is overrated imo. nikka has quite a few fukked up mix jobs. MDBTF was horribly mixed all around. One of the worst mainstream mixed albums I’ve heard honestly.

I always felt personally that Nas used the Kanye album to get off of Def Jam and be fully under Mass Appeal. He owed them one more album and I always felt the six year delay between LIG and Nasir had more to do with Nas wanting to get shyt started with Mass Appeal moreso than anything.

Nas was saying he was done with Def Jam when LIG released and Def Jam had to issue a press statement saying they “Were very much still in the Nas business”. Then when Fashawn and RTJ were releasing material via Mass Appeal you could tell Nas was charged.
