like I can imagine Hit Boy saw Nas answer the question on Hot 97 about the Bryant park incident. Had idea of a west coast beat and suggested it to Nas. Not saying that happened but get feeling Hitboy works like that

like how he just suggested hitting up Mega to Nas when it was just Nas and Az at first

Yeah, Hitboy also encourages Nas to just rap about some of the conversations they have in the studio. I remember earlier this year Hitboy did a joint interview with Dom Kennedy. When they were asked about what it's like to be around Nas, they mentioned hanging out and going to brunch with him. lol At the time I thought it was a weird thing to recall, but I wouldn't be surprised if Hitboy was eventually like you should make a song about this.

I don’t know about that just yet but he’s making quite the argument to be included in the pantheon of GOATs at this point.

As an aspiring beat maker, this album has me wanting to sit down and carefully study this mans techniques. I’m in awe of the production on KD2
