Spotify gives you the most streams. That’s why I suggested fans that had Spotify to stream the album on that platform.

True. cuz when KD 1 was released last year Nas was killing Itunes and Amazon.. but Spotify is what he gotta perform well on.. thats your real numbers if you do well on there. Imma switch my streaming to spotify. I mostly listen on Amazon

We're so lucky to get these kind of albums from Nas in this era of rap. Remember The Season? ...Waiting for him to drop an album. I think he was definitely unsure/not as inspired from 2013-2017.

The God made us wait for a while after Life Is Good but it was worth the wait

:blessed:

People be mad he don't sound flabby and sick. :umad:

nikka is in rare form :lawd:

I’ll take The Cure over The Message. The overall them and message (no pun intended) of The Cure hits me harder than The Message.

The thing with Streets Disciple is the concept got fukked up by Sony.

SD was supposed to be a TRIPLE ALBUM and the concept was Nas going through various points of his career and personas leading up to the wedding. Salaam also said that the seasons of Summer, Fall, and Winter was supposed to play part of the concept.

Sony wouldn’t let Nas make it a triple album and thats why songs like Good Morning, Serious (with AZ), Talk Of New York, and Foul Breeze never made the album. Also songs we’ve never heard like I Am Somebody (with Diddy) and Get Up (sequel to Get Down) never made the album.
Bolded still blows my mind and gets me like :mjcry:

Nas was in rare form on these and had me thinking he was ready to top God's Son. All of these tracks still have me like :wow:

This man knows how to drop projects

1994 Illmatic - Greatest Rap Album of All Time
1996 It Was Written - My favorite album - the perfect follow-up
2001 Stillmatic - Return of the prince the boss - crazy concept records, greatest of all time diss record, sickest intro, all in one
2002 Lost Tapes - ahead of his time with dropping a project like this - and doing it so perfectly
2002 God's Son - Another great followup to the previous album
2010 Distant Relatives - 2 great poets
2012 Life is Good - The Bible for Grown Up Rap Albums
2020 King's Disease - Perfect project for the era, flows insane, kept his verses tight. Musically so smooth from beginning to end
2021 King's Disease - Rare form. Straight up. The variety in his flows just even in a single song is crazy.

GOAT

The other albums not listed are amazing too, I just felt like the above are the most complete from beginning to end, and have the most longevity
