I think the highs on LIG is better than KD2, but LIG has a few more bad songs compared to KD2 which only has 1 (YKTV).

IDK man LIG one legit bad song is SOS besides that album is crazy from beginning to end Nas ripped that album to shreds. Which what he was doing leading up to its release

I love Sekou Story and Live Now as is. The story blew my mind as a 17 year old and it still holds up today.


I LOVE the relationship tracks too because again, as a kid, this was something you didn’t hear too many rappers tackle. Especially “back then” everything was bytch this hoe that and Nas was talking about loving a woman enough to give up ALL his hoes and actually marry her and honor her.


The second disc from Remember The Times to War is an entire narrative of growth, love, marriage, and maturity. I’ve always loved that about Nas that he sequenced those 2004-2008 era albums to act as chapters in an audio novel.

live now is my favorite song on the album. Anytime I hear that song it brings me back to a place I was at during that album. Nostalgia like crazy…

Definitely SOS was wack. I didn’t like reach out either. Other than those 2, that album is flawless

The only reason I put kd2 over lig is because I absolutely hate the song the black bond and I wasn’t a fan of bye bye baby at all. Felt he could have executed bye bye baby better.
