Most people didn’t actually read what I wrote regarding the producers.

I gave Pete Rock props for the excellent production he gave Nas on LT2. Guess what? The entire project got absolutely shytTED on. And this was Nas literally GIFTING nikkas what they’d begged, bytched, and demanded from him since Illmatic.

I said Alchemist is really just a vanilla Madlib and I stand by that. Everything Alch does Madlib can do better. And again, when Nas GAVE muthafukkas the Alchemist reunion they claim they craved, it wasn’t fully supported or praised.

Madlib did a whole project with two legends. A reunion album thats been pleaded for for YEARS and its been held up because the goddamn producer can’t remember which samples he used:gucci: THATS the kind bullshyt you want a Nas album caught up in? Naw.

The point is that when Nas moves forward, on HIS own terms, he succeeds more often than naught. Hit Boy gave Nas exactly what he needed and Nas was correct in going with that feeling instead of simply pandering to the trapped in the 90’s nikkas

Alchemist makes better "street banger" type beats than madlib w/o question but some of the newer Alc is definitely jacking from Madlib's style

I know bytch nikkas wanna bring up streams and numbers later on.. Who gives a fukk.. Nas is in the musical zone and we need to apperciate the cats whom are still alive to deliever

Breh the album is number 1 on itunes, Apple Music, and Amazon. The sales and numbers are matching the reviews and hype. Word of mouth for the album has been incredible.

I noticed this album getting way more mainstream promo/buzz than last year.

wouldnt shock me if this did 100k.

Store Runs might deadass be a top 10 Nas track

As I'm looking at the New York skyline
Reminiscing on night time, shootouts with my guys
Pouring this white wine
You could Richard Mille your left wrist keep in perspective we on God's time
What happens when dealers reduce to addicts?
What happens when Kings don't see they potential status?
What your exit plan? Face to face with my omens I never ran
Stood on stages most never can't, pyrotechnics and leather pants
Shifting the culture
Mention me with Mick Jagger and Bono like your poster
I'm standing next to rookies some how they looking older
The altitude I'm at is so cold it'll make your nose run
How you expect to get love if you don't show none?
I should send you lil nikkas on a store run....

I got the hood playing golf, wow, boss style
Crucifixes over the Chrome Hearts you'll get crossed out
People battered down, Asian hate getting passed around
Tiger happy both his parents lives matter now
Marble floors is my common law we company builders
I inspire those who inspire you to run up millions
Not perfect persistent keep it more pure than the purest
I do this for the 'jects and them good hearted jurors

:ohlawd: :ahh:

Impeccable, bro been really dropping classic verses for 30 years :wow::gucci::mindblown:
It absolutely is.. One of his greatest songs ever.

Nas and Hit Boy are rivaling Freddie & Madlib for best Producer/MC duo in modern Hip Hop.

If they can being it home with a trilogy they’ll have the crown:wow:

Also Nas needs to be commended for inspired choices on who he does entire projects with.

Nas/Trackmasters- It Was Written
Nas/Damien Marley- Distant Relatives
Nas/Hitboy- King’s Disease 1 & 2

Alc is also the first to admit Madlib's influence on his later stage career. Al and Madlib's brother Oh No started a duo group in 2010, and Al started kicking it a lot more with Oh No and Madlib, and did some psychedelics with them, and it really had a big impact on his sound. Around the same time he started listening to a lot of Roc Marci, and ever since then his style has sort of grown and evolved from being a lot more Madlib influenced.

And Alc has actually been doing a lot of trap influenced joints lately with cats like Boldy, Benny, and Conway. I wouldn't mind hearing Nas on a beat like Slow Roll, Bernadines, etc.

Like I said yesterday. I'd love to hear Nas with Madlib or Alchemist, but just not for an entire album.

I wonder what Nas’ next move is. I wouldn’t be against another Hit Boy collab but same time there’s point you both go separate ways (of course with some Hit Boy beats on next album).

they basically seem like best friends right now and just hang out in studio and make music so wouldn’t be surprised if they carry on for some sort of trilogy
Kings Disease 3 The Final Chapter..
Featuring Outkast.. The Juice Crew...Sade and some young rapper who's poppin at the time.
