dude, you sound more emotional about it than the people actually involved:russ::mjlol:

:mjlol:

Nas hit Napoleon and say Rest In Peace Pac, and Napoleon post it said when Enemy's become Friends. Napoleon is a Muslim now deep in his faith and he's grown.

Its early but I'm already going to say this. Kings Disease is a top 3 Nas album. I have zero regrets saying that.

Top 5 for sure.

Illmatic
It Was Written
The Lost Tapes
Life Is Good
King's Disease II

I know some will disagree with me leaving Stillmatic off but I feel that LIG and KDII are a lil more consistent. If you leave LT off cuz it's a compilation, then Stillmatic is in there.

Personally, I make a point to not listen to old albums. When you do that, you get stuck in the past. I only listen to old albums if I have never heard them before. If I hear an old song on the radio or at somebody’s place that meant a lot to me back in the day, I feel similar to these folks. :yeshrug:

Ciggs you my guy for life, but you don’t listen to Max’s Library of a Legend because it’s old Max music??

Most people didn’t actually read what I wrote regarding the producers.

I gave Pete Rock props for the excellent production he gave Nas on LT2. Guess what? The entire project got absolutely shytTED on. And this was Nas literally GIFTING nikkas what they’d begged, bytched, and demanded from him since Illmatic.

I said Alchemist is really just a vanilla Madlib and I stand by that. Everything Alch does Madlib can do better. And again, when Nas GAVE muthafukkas the Alchemist reunion they claim they craved, it wasn’t fully supported or praised.

Madlib did a whole project with two legends. A reunion album thats been pleaded for for YEARS and its been held up because the goddamn producer can’t remember which samples he used:gucci: THATS the kind bullshyt you want a Nas album caught up in? Naw.

The point is that when Nas moves forward, on HIS own terms, he succeeds more often than naught. Hit Boy gave Nas exactly what he needed and Nas was correct in going with that feeling instead of simply pandering to the trapped in the 90’s nikkas

Man cut the bullshyt out he said Rest In Peace :mjlol:

Y'all doing to much, I can't stand grown ass Men who are groupies and stans.

As a Nas fan I can be critical when y'all Grown ass Men who Nas would walk past In real life if you try to shake his hand:mjlol: feel some type of loyalty too more than your own girl

Okay back to the album I'm on Count Me In, my favorite track so far
Critical? fukk is u talkin bout fam I’m one of the biggest Pac fans on this fukking board. Speak for ur fukkin self. nikka Nas has spoke on Ill Will’s Death a MILLION times. In detail. From music. To documentaries(MULTIPLE). To interviews. That was a dumb ass question cause anyone who follows Nas knows he’s spoken on that ILL Will story a million times. I can tell u how Ill Will died from front to back. Wanna know why? Cause both Nas and Jungle have been telling the story for YEARS. U got everybody and they momma. Even Napoleon who just did a whole interview about Pac and all this shyt from 96. U got Jermaine Hopkins just doing an interview this week on Pac. U mad at Nas for speaking on a situation the fukking Outlawz JUST spoke about not even months ago? Let alone the fact it’s been a fake narrative floating around that Nas be hating on Pac. Nas addressed it in his music. Everybody able to talk about the talk Pac and Nas had in Bryant Park BUT Pac and Nas? Nas the only living person that can tell the damn story completely accurate since he was the one Pac had the convo with.

I'm a Pac and Nas fan, just giving King Disease 2 run I'm on Death Row East, and you know what Let Biggie and Pac Rest In Peace. Nas had over 25 year's to tell his story and he didn't. Let PAC rest in Peace, us who was of age during The Bad Boy vs Death Row beef that magazines renamed it West Coast vs East Coast Beef, we don't relieve that shyt no more, let's it go, stop bringing this up, that's was hip hop darkest period during the Beef. When Pac died I was 19 years old in 96, I lived the whole beef which started when I was in High School, The Source Awards with Death Row ect

Let that era go. Nas once said Never looking backwards always moving foward. Let's move forward

Rest In Peace Tupac Amaru Shakur
Rest In Peace Francis M.H. White aka Biggie
Rest In Peace Jake Robles
Rest In Peace Anthony Wolf Jones
Rest In Peace Stretch

Nas can speak on it whenever he wants as

1). He LIVED IT. He was THERE and in the thicket of it all

2). He’s one of the last artists who are actually credible to speak on it. Snoop Dogg been told 67773 different stories on the subject. Suge has spoken on it. The Outlawz speak on it. Its part of Hip Hop lore at this point. Just like the Nas Vs Jay-Z battle, the Pac/Nas confrontation is something the public just won’t let GO of. They want more details even though its been talked about Ad Nauseam. If ANYBODY can speak about the incident its the man who was involved. He can speak on it how he wants whenever he wants

because he knows nas is speaking on something that he himself has already confirmed as recently as a few months ago, not counting the numerous others times he's spoke on it

and knows the track wasn't any form of disrespect to Pac, and that Nas is allowed to tell his OWN story and experiences that occurred that night because lord knows, everyone else has given their bit on it numerous times while putting out fuzzy accounts

You talking about NFR?

I’m listening to them now. Their breakdown is VERY impressive and I like the way they have the ratings split into categories of Artist Performance, Content, Features and Production.

They love the album by the way. They only criticized A Boogie’s verse and they were split on their feelings regarding Eminem’s verse.

Everything regarding Nas’s performance they praised

ah will check out the NFR link. They seemed lame so didn’t check their vid haha.

tlaking about these dudes below. The guy on right in particular knows his old school hip hop and it’s history fairly well compared to lot of these YouTube guys. I’m sure they’ll do their vid soon for KDII

Like I said. I’m one of the biggest Pac fans on this board and literally anyone here can attest to that. I’m literally in another thread currently defending Pac from nikkas lying on his name. But it still don’t make what u saying right fam. Has nothing to do with being a groupie or any of that shyt. I’m done with this argument.

Wow, there's actually a lot idk about the whole beef.....I never knew Nas was really in the "thick" of it, so to speak. He always seemed like he was playin the background, because It seemed like Mobb Deep and CNN were more involved in the beef than Nas. Did him and Pac ever confront each other personally? I know Pac goes at him on Hit Em Up, but were they ever around each other in person in 95-96?

Also i had no idea about the Bryant park story, or how Nas went to go meet Stretch there to clear the shyt up. Funny because right before Stretch died in 95' he produced Take it in Blood on IWW......funny how all the shyt works and was connected back then. Small world.

Then you got bytch ass Jay-Z who never said "boo" during the whole beef.....just kept quiet all of 95, 96 and 97'. :sas2:
