Do they automatically put the producer in every writing credit? He’s listed on every song.

Nah it’s corny in 2021 to post pictures like you being held back on some fantasise shyt. Don’t act like you the big tough guy when the other side had the whole world shook in 96. FACT

The hell are you talking about? No one is holding him back. The MTV Awards was in September. Does it look like that picture is from that month? No one's wearing leather jackets when it's still hot out.

When was Queens shook of Pac or Death Row? CNN dropped LA, LA. Mobb Deep went at Pac directly on Drop a Gem. Chris Lighty isn't from Queens but he backed down Suge face to face in NY and went to his office in LA and dealt with him on business.

Luke ran Death Row out of Miami.

Death Row wasn't bullying anyone who was willing to fight back.

Are we ignoring Rare because it was a single? It’s one of the standouts.
:wow: He was skating crazy

he killed it, and then when that first change of the beat comes in:

I said it yesterday or this morning... but this album would be absolutely perfect with EPMD2 and YKTV as bonus tracks - I like both tracks, but they're like speed bumps, they both seem way out of place with the rest of it

imagine a 13 song tracklist

The Pressure
Death Row East
40 Side
Rare
Store Run
Moments
Nobody
No Phony Love
Brunch on Sundays
Count Me In
Composure
My Bible
Nas is Good

would be undeniable 5 mics

two white dudes prevented Nas from a classic: Eminem and Peter Popoff

why does every song on a Nas album have to be great for it to be a classic?

There’s 4/5 skippable songs on The Black Album, Chronic, Wu Forever, Get Rich Die Trying, The Diary, ATLiens, etc

:hhh:

Fam. Nas and Pac had a lot of the same NYC friends. I doubt Pac or any of them had Nas or any of them shook and vice versa. I personally don’t get why Jungle posted that pic but I also don’t know why he said what he said on the Behind The Music. It’s fukkin Jungle he’s always like that. But don’t make like Nas is lying because of some shyt Jungle did. And if it happened it happened. It ain’t about “punking” Pac more than it’s about showing the world u wasn’t no punk when it came to him. Which ironically is how u thinking right now. Lol. Chill brodie. There’s no beef. Napoleon and Nas been speaking. Storm is dope cause she the main one who rides for Pac but she need to chill too. Nas ain’t do shyt wrong.
I always thought the narrative that Pac had everyone shook to this extent was kinda false. I think pac and nas meeting was just real recognising real... Nas had a hundered goons behind him and pac had his crew nothing happened cos of the respect.

It always reminds me of that Prodigy bar, I can't rememeber what song it's from but something like "you thought pac was a problem? Then you ain't seen alot"

At the end of the day New York got him... He was never untouchable

:dahell:

4-5 songs is like a third of an album. If I'm skipping that much it's not a classic.

People need to stop trying to label everything a classic. There's nothing wrong with a very good to great album. Classics don't come around often.

Yeah, it's official. This is fukking beautiful music. It's like Life is Good mixed with Late Registration.
:ohhh:

Mad that I haven't had a chance to sit down and give this a good listen since my first listen after it came out at midnight, but I like your this description. Both [LR and KDII] have a cinematic cohesiveness and musicality that is just :ahh: while having Nas in his introspective "I'm at peace with where I'm at in my life" mode like LIG.
