After listening to this all day , the most impressive thing about this album is the flows nas uses on some tracks, he definitely stepped out of his comfort zone and that what makes this refreshing over this great production from hitboy... idk if its better than KD1 but its tied at the very least ...

I don’t feel a need to shyt on Nas old producers to big up Hit Boy. I still love Nas with Premier, I think they could still cook up a classic. A lot of my favourite Nas joints are his joints with Preme.

But him and Hit Boy got a great chemistry, back to back dope shyt. I’m loving what they do.

yall got this on par with the last one? :jbhmm:

It's better. Beats are more dynamic, flows are better. Both were strong lyrically, pretty much equal. There's a symmetry between both, with Nas embracing that OG role again and giving out jewels without sounding like he's preaching or looking down on anyone. That shyt like 10 Points and The Cure from KD1 especially...straight gems. Too early for numbers and rankings but this shyt immediately feels better than KD1 and even Life Is Good.

This is also the happiest Nas has sounded in a minute to me. No Phony Love doesn't have that biting anger that you heard on some of the ladies tracks on LIG or KD. He's looking past Kelis and these other chicks. Man on a mission shyt.

I got KD1 as a solid 4 mics this shyt is next level LIG was 4.5 mics to me. I might like this more honestly:wow:

Life is good with the bonus tracks is a 5 to me. I have that album right next to Stillmatic. I think its slight better actually. Wheres the love is actually my fav song from there. KD was outstanding to me. Ranking Nas catalouge has become alot harder with these 2 releases :whew:

I don't wanna hear Nas work with illmatic producers. But I definitely wouldn't mind hearing him work with dudes like sounwave. Madlib. Alchemist. 9th. Kenny beats. Terrance Martin. Robert glasper. There's plenty of great producers and musicians he could connect with that aren't washed up.

But him and hitboy have great chemistry. Got this album neck and neck with Isaiah Rashad for album of the year. But Kendrick might come through and crush the buildings before the year closes.

Was tripping when I realized Google Music isn't a thing anymore and was wondering where I could cop this in 320 mp3. Thank you 7 Digital, only $7.49. :ehh: Copping the CD too of course but likely won't be receiving it until KDIII is streaming.

Can't wait to give this the whip test now.
