That's a great attribute. I'm trying to think of anyone else who does that.

I agree Nas is the best at it. Common and Kendrick come to mind next...both are amazing at it. And not just bringing those images to life, but the ability to bring characters to life. To step outside of your shoes and analyze someone else, creating an entire person - not a caricature or stereotype, but a full blown human character. I think of Common's verse on Respiration, or the last verse on It's Your World. "She said it was her toes, but I could tell her soul hurt." Or with Kendrick, Sing About Me comes to mind first, and Momma. "I met a little boy that resembled my features/Nappy afro, gap in his smile, hand-me-down sneakers."
