Nas pretty much confirmed that the Sony vaults are staying shut. And I get the feeling Nas isn’t as attached to that music as certain fans are.




We more than likely have better chances of getting the Def Jam songs. Nas promised Lost Tapes 3 and I can name several songs from both Hip Hop Is Dead and Untitled that either haven’t been heard or exist only in bootleg versions.


Not to mention the work that he put in with Mass Appeal. There’s sessions that exist with Lupe Fiasco, Big Krit, Fashawn, Benny The Butcher and others that i’m sure produced some exciting stuff

Ya'll gotta get over them Sony and Def Jam Vaults. Nas is so far removed from that era. I imagine he's recorded a lot over the last 5 years, he's not thinking about 10-20 year old songs.

NFT's are about to change the game. This is a method that artists are using to release music including rarities that were not available before. From my understanding, artists can use this technology to make millions off their art.

With Nas being immersed in the tech world now, I wouldn't be surprised if he took advantage and released a new album, rare song, an installment of Lost Tapes, some random drawings or what not via an NFT.

Yup alotta nikkas don’t know Nas was gonna divorce Kelis first but then she popped up pregnant. Then she turned it around and filed ahead of him to get ahead of the curve.

somebody told me SONY is going hard in media over the next 2 years.

playstation will release a bunch of exclusive titles and limited edition promo (the new grand theft auto online will be free on playstation 5 etc)

sony is releasing a super mario bros movie in tandem with super mario bros world in florida

sony legacy artists are releasing lost tapes and boxed sets on sony

trust me i cant wait

Nas is the best though

I thought of Ghost too. I don't know if I would use nostalgia, except for All that I got. His shyt is more somber. Ghost can make you feel like you're in the middle of the story. He'll drop names and you don't know who the fukk he's talking about. He just acts like you know what he's talking about.

Nas is really the king of nostalgia. I wish he would called one of his albums nastalgia like he intended too.

I think his ability to paint picture plus the fact that he's from queensbridge helps a lot. Majority of the name he's mentioning can be heard on other qb artists songs which reinforce the nostalgic and legendary feeling

Not to forget the type of beats he picks. Memory lane or surviving the times are the epitome of that
