Nasir is super short so its kinda hard to compare it. Nasir doesnt have any awful tracks. Just a bunch of ok ones. Nastradamus has some real turds on there but it also has some classic songs. So I dunno. Id def rather listen to Nastradamus as long as Im alowed to skip around. If I cant skip then Nasir all day

My Firm T came in still waiting on my vinyl and CD. Hoodie already been worn a few times since I got it.
I kinda wish Spicy was placed in between 27 summers and Replace Me cause The Cure is such a great closer track.
:hubie:no fam...its where its supposed to be......... as a BONUS....
The hate fodder that the Nas haters/purists would have got to hate on KD wld have surpassed the LIG/Summer on Smash levels
placement is everything with these party joints.... (remember Bravehearts Party from Stillmatic).

For me Nastradamus stands out because it is one of the few times in his career that Nas is legit WACK on a song (Big Girl Now).

What I love about him is that he takes swings and even though he doesn't always hit (sticking to Nastradamus: the Nastradamus single, New World Order and to some extent You Owe Me) I at least respect it. Big Girl Now is a song I mightve legit listened to twice in my life, and the second time must've been because I was incapable of skipping it somehow. It's lazy and just plain bad, nothing works well in that song.

The HIGHS of Nastradamus are incredible, better than anything on some of his other albums (SD/HHID/NASIR) but those albums don't have a Big Girl Now. Can't think of another Nas song that's just so fukking bad.

The fact that this is the first time a lot of "us" had to deal with a Nas song like that is why Nastradamus gets the rep of being his low point. The fact that, to me at least, there's songs on there that someone like Jay-Z has never reached on his best day get muddled because of this.

It's the same reason I gave KD the nod over LIFE IS GOOD in the other thread; it's just hard to get over sth like SUMMER ON SMASH. Spicy gets a pass because it's labeled a bonus track. And I fukks with Spicy and SOS isn't on the same low level as BGN.

I can tolerate Summer on Smash if you take out Swizz. I don't hate Nastradamus or Nasir. SD was the weakest to me but mainly because of all the star filler due to it being a double album. Not saying the songs were terrible. They weren't. It was just too many average songs for me. To me, Me & You, Who Killed it, and possible the unreleased King Disease bonus track is the worst for me.
